WellieWay Kids Foundation

Families Need More Help Than Ever. We're Here to Help Make It Accessible.

WellieWay Kids Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit expanding access to practical, non-medical education, resources, and support that help children and families thrive.

We support families when children are struggling — and work to give families better wellness education before the struggle begins.

Why We Exist

The Need Came First. The Foundation Came Next.

Parents are searching, spending, trying, and doing everything they know to do. Yet too often, useful education arrives only after a child has been struggling for months or years — and deeper support may be financially out of reach.

WellieWay Kids Foundation was created because families need more: clearer education, practical resources, supportive guidance, and greater access when they need additional help.

And the need does not begin only after something goes wrong. Families deserve better wellness education earlier, too.

Our purpose is simple:Help families access better education and support now — while building a future where parents have better information from the start.
Our Work

Help When It's Needed. Education Before It's Needed.

WWKF begins at two points in a family's journey.

When a Child Is Struggling

Childhood Constipation & Withholding

Our first focused initiative addresses a problem we know well: children caught in recurring cycles of constipation, withholding, painful stools, accidents, fear, and repeated setbacks.

WWKF is building free parent education, practical resources, and a needs-based sponsorship pathway so qualifying families can access additional constipation education and support when cost is a barrier.

Before a Child Is Struggling

Family Wellness Education

We believe parents should not have to wait for a problem before learning about the everyday conditions that influence children's well-being.

Through Built, Not Fixed, companion education, and a growing free resource library, WWKF is working to put practical family wellness education into more hands earlier.

Experience Behind Our First Initiative

The Foundation Is New. The Work Behind It Isn't.

WWKF's childhood constipation initiative grows from years of direct experience through WellieWay working with families navigating chronic constipation, withholding, accidents, fear, and repeated setbacks.

That gives the Foundation an established educational approach, real family experience, and a meaningful starting point for expanding charitable access.

Historical family stories and program experience referenced by WWKF will be clearly attributed to WellieWay. Foundation-funded impact will be tracked separately as WWKF grows.

Prevention Through Education

Built, Not Fixed

Built, Not Fixed supports WWKF's broader prevention mission: helping families think about children's wellness before a significant struggle is what finally sends them searching.

The book and future companion resources can help bring practical family wellness education to parents, caregivers, libraries, family-serving organizations, and communities.

We're building the charitable distribution model now.
